Housing Beverage Container

The A.S. Campus Recycling currently services 15 locations where you can recycle aluminum cans, glass bottles (clear, green, blue and brown) and plastic #1 and #2. Labels and lids are fine, but please empty all contents before recycling. In addition, there are recycling bins for newspaper and mixed paper. Simply place your paper in these bins located with the beverage container recycling bins. Download our Housing Recycling Guide.

Housing Recycling Tips:

Aluminum Cans: Soda cans ONLY. No aluminum foil or trays, paint, aerosol, or steel cans.

GlassContainers: Bottles & Jars ONLY. No other glass (ceramics, dishes, etc.)

Plastic Bottles: All plastic, SINGLE-SERVE beverage containers. No other plastics (bags, wrap, hangers, etc.) or milk jugs

Newspapers: Newsprint only (papers + inserts, class schedules, tax guides) No trash, plastic or paper bags, string, magazines or glossy paper.
