General E-Waste Information

E-waste is discarded, surplus, obsolete, or broken electronic equipment that is near or at the end of its useful life. E-waste contains valuable and hazardous materials which require special handling and recycling methods and can be reused or recycled into a new product.

2012 E-waste: A.S. Recycling collaborated with Planet Green and All E-Waste Electronics to responsibly recycle e-waste from 150+ campus and community members. Recycled approximately 15,000 of materials (14896.1 to be exact!) such as computers and small electronics at our 2nd annual event.
