The Associated Students Accounting and Financial Services Office provides many services, not only to the Associated Students, but to all CSUN students, and especially for clubs and organizations.
A.S. Accounting and Financial Services works with all CSUN recognized clubs and organizations by handling both agency (club) accounts, and A.S. budgeted accounts (when an allocation has been approved by the Senate). The A.S. agency account gives access to almost all campus services including parking, security, Quickcopies, Plaza del Sol, USU room rentals, and more. A representative from A.S. Accounting and Financial Services is always in attendance at the finance committee meetings every Monday; the representative is there to help answer questions that the committee or club representatives may have. After your group has been allocated funding, the Accounting and Financial Services staff can assist you with processing your expenditures. Club monies, like dues, membership fees and fundraising, can be deposited into the club’s agency fund for safe keeping.
Individual counseling services and workshops are available for student groups to be informed on how to use and manage accounts. For more on A.S. Accounting and Financial Services and what they can do for you, call (818) 677-2389 or visit the office located in University Student Union.
