   The Fitness Centre opened its doors to CSUN students, faculty/staff, alumni, and the community in the spring of 1995. A partnership between Associated Students and the University Student Union, the Fitness Centre serves a membership base of 4,000 patrons.

   The purpose of the Fitness Centre's programs and services is to offer CSUN students, faculty/staff, alumni, and community members the opportunity to engage in a healthy lifestyle. Through our facility, equipment, and human resources, the Fitness Centre provides a motivational environment in which our patrons are encouraged to maximize their results. Additionally, through new collaborative efforts with other groups and departments on-campus, it our strongest desire to make fitness and wellness an integral part of campus life.
